CANDY TUNE, a seven-member idol group from “KAWAII LAB.”, held an additional performance of the first hall tour, “CANDY TUNE 2nd ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2025 “CANDY CANDY PARTY” at Makuhari Event Hall in Chiba on Sunday, May 4th and Monday, May 5th (national holiday).
This tour began at the Niterra Japan Special Ceramic Civic Hall Forest Hall in Aichi on Friday, April 11th, followed by the Fenice Sakai Main Hall in Osaka (April 18th) and the Tokyo International Forum Hall A (April 29th) in Tokyo, and the finals were held at the Makuhari Event Hall with additional performances. About 12,000 people came to the Makuhari performance, which was CANDY TUNE’s first solo live performance on an arena-scale, over two days, attracting approximately 21,000 people across the tour. Since the release of their first single CD “Kiss Me Pastry Cheer” in 2024 (released on March 7th, 2023), this stage can be said to be the culmination of their second anniversary of their debut, proving the current situation of the seven members who have experienced rapid growth.
This performance was held entirely with a band set. As the venue was filled with excitement from Overture, the live show opened with its first song, “Kiss Me Pastry Cheer.” This song, a sure-fire collaboration between Kubonaoki and Suu (SILENT SIREN), is a killer tune that can be said to be synonymous with the group. The moment the intro rang, the glitterums in the audience sparkled all at once, and the seven members appeared boldly from the audience.
As CANDY TUNE’s bright and positive energy suddenly spread throughout the venue, the following “hanamaru” gave a sense of positivity that symbolized the current momentum of the group and its relationship with the fans, and “Unfinished Youth” was an impressive accent that expanded the range of emotions at the beginning of the live performance.
After introducing themselves from the members, Fukuyama Rino expressed her gratitude to Amechan (the fan name) who gathered, saying, “Thank you for celebrating the second anniversary together,” and gave an extra large call and response with the member introduction song “Absolutely Kyanchu!” The venue was filled with bright and unique performances, followed by the cute “CATCH YOU” and the danceable “TUNE MY WAY” further accelerating the passion of the performance. And the stage was “Twilight Dilemma” which unfolded more dramatically. The sadness of the sky as the sun sets, and the chorus that seemed to be searching for light contrasted with the bright tone they had so far, striking the hearts of the audience.
The live show entered the mid-point block. They interacted with Me in the MC’s question corner, and quickly narrowed the distance between them and the audience, and reignited the energy of the stage and audience with a light beat, “If you’re ready, there’s no problem.” When a video shows CANDY TUNE’s history so far, the members wearing the costumes prepared for this tour reappear and start with “My Favorite♡I Love You♡It’s so tough” with Ogawa Nanako’s lines. This work, which was a hot topic as a song provided by Hyadain, is a highly sympathetic song that directly depicts the heart of idol fan psychology. The group’s powerful message song symbolizes the group’s “now”, led the audience to its peak. In “Hissatsu Amazing Pose,” the members’ “cute and cute” special moves made the cheers louder, making it the center block of the live show, and it was the most exciting.

The live performance will resume at “Etoseto LOVE YOU,” which features catchy choreography and cute members, and from here it will be an emotional section worthy of celebrating the second anniversary. In “Nanairo Prologue,” the performance is filled with happiness, reminiscent of early passions and the starting point of the group. The following “Unspoken Words ~Thank you~” depicted her gratitude to the fans and friends who supported her so far, and the venue was filled with a warm atmosphere.
At the end of the show, the members and Ame-chan all waving towels around at once, and enthusiastic calls echoing through the venue, and with that momentum they performed “Live-Beautiful!” The two bright and catchy songs were synchronized with the smiles and excitement of the members, making it the perfect start to the final number.
Minami Natsu stoked, “Let’s have more fun!” and performed “Double FIGHT!”, a viral hit. The song, which has over 2 billion views in TikTok, sparked a huge cheer from the intro, and Ame-chan’s call and response, synchronized with the powerful incitement of the members, was combined, and Makuhari Event Hall was filled with the most exciting excitement of the day.
During the encore, the members who reappeared wearing T-shirts held back tears as they held back on the MC, and the new song “LASTING TUNE,” which was performed for the first time in the additional performance, was delivered. This song, which gives a sense of the group’s future, was a premium scene worthy of closing the commemorative performance.
After that, they performed “Kiss Me Pastry Chef” and “Double FIGHT!” again, and the members went all the way to the audience, narrowing the distance between them and Ame-chan to the limit. CANDY TUNE ran through the full throttle until the very end, and bowed deeply, surrounded by Ame-chan’s cheers.
In addition, at the Tokyo performance on April 29th, CANDY TUNE’s first nationwide tour, “CANDY TUNE JAPAN TOUR 2025 – AUTUMN -” was also announced as a surprise. Starting in October, CANDY TUNE will be traveling to eight cities across the country, including the group’s first region, and this fall will mark the next step in a more scaled nationwide tour.
