SWEET STEADY, who successfully held their first solo concert at EX THEATER ROPPONGI just three months after their debut, released their seventh single “Onegai Pentas” digitally on Wednesday, July 10th.
“Onegai Pentas” is the group’s first summer song, which was first performed at their first solo live held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on Sunday, June 9th. It is a refreshing song about love set to a summery synth band sound, and was produced by Shiggy Jr.’s Shigeyuki Harada.
Based on the theme of flowers, which are the motif of SWEET STEADY, the design was inspired by the pentas flower, which blooms vigorously even in the heat of summer. The flower’s star-shaped flower is reminiscent of a shooting star in the night sky, and its floral meaning of “wishes” is imbued with meaning.
To commemorate the digital release, the live video of their first solo concert will be released on SWEET STEADY’s official YouTube channel on Friday, July 12th. Be sure to check it out.
