FRUITS ZIPPER will release the video work “1st LIVE FILM at Nippon Budokan FRUITS ZIPPER 2nd ANNIVERSARY Super Happy Live ~NEW KAWAII~” on September 18th (Wednesday), which is a recording of the group’s 2nd anniversary live. On the same day, they will also release a double A-side CD single “NEW KAWAII / Fruits Basket”. The concept photo and the jackets for the 9 formats have been unveiled.
This work is a double A-side single, and in addition to the popular song “NEW KAWAII” that was included in the album released on April 10th, it will also include a new song “Fruits Basket.”
The CD will be released in nine formats, including a limited first edition, a regular edition, and seven member editions. The limited first edition will include “Niji,” which was first performed at the Nippon Budokan, and each member edition will include a number of songs that fans have been waiting for, such as the solo songs that the members have performed at their birthday celebrations, and the unit songs that they performed at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, which was their first solo arena live show. In addition, the limited first edition will come with a jacket jacket and a luxurious booklet.
The theme of the artwork that was released is “The Beginning of a Fairy Tale”. In the previous album, the members wore dresses with unique designs to express “NEW KAWAII Princesses”, but in this album they express a story before they became princesses. Check out the “NEW KAWAII” side of the members, who show off a slightly more mature and soft look in a classic worldview like a fairy tale.
