FRUITS ZIPPER releases their second single CD “NEW KAWAII / Fruits Basket” today! MV teaser video released & pop-up store details announced

Today, September 18th, 2024 (Wednesday), FRUITS ZIPPER will release the double A-side single CD “NEW KAWAII / Fruits Basket” and the video work “1st LIVE FILM at Nippon Budokan FRUITS ZIPPER 2nd ANNIVERSARY Super Happy Live ~NEW KAWAII~” which contains the group’s 2nd anniversary live performance. To commemorate the release, they released a teaser video for the music video of their new song “Fruits Basket”, released their first LINE stamps with voice, and announced details of the pop-up store to be held from September 21st (Sat) to 23rd (Mon, holiday).

The double A-side single “NEW KAWAII / Fruits Basket” released today includes the popular song “NEW KAWAII” from the first album, as well as a new song “Fruits Basket” by Yamamoto Sho, who also wrote “Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro”. The theme of the new song “Fruits Basket”, which follows “NEW KAWAII”, a song about accepting each other’s good and bad points as “NEW KAWAII” personalities, is “You are the main character”. The song is filled with a positive message that is typical of FRUIT ZIPPER, about accepting the “NEW KAWAII” personalities that have made you who you are and continuing to live your life as yourself.

From September 21st (Sat) to 23rd (Mon, holiday), “FRUITS ZIPPER NEW KAWAII POP UP STORE vol.2” will be held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA B1F in Shibuya. The outfits from the jacket of the second single CD and the outfits worn when singing “NEW KAWAII” will be on display, and new and past goods will be on sale, as well as a panel display of the Nippon Budokan performance. In addition, release events will be held at Seven Park Ario Kashiwa on September 18th (Wed) and at AEON Lake Town Mori on September 21st (Sat).

In addition, FRUITS ZIPPER will begin their first nationwide hall tour on Saturday, September 28. The FRUITS ZIPPER OFFICIAL FANCLUB will start accepting applications for annual membership from today, and special presents will be given out at each venue on the tour as a membership benefit.

Furthermore, from 11:00 on Thursday, September 19th, FRUITS ZIPPER’s first official LINE stamps, “FRUITS ZIPPER NEW KAWAII Stamps,” will be released. The stamps include voices of the members, and the illustrations were drawn by illustrator Shoko Nagamine. In addition to using many phrases familiar to fans, the stamps also include words that can be used in everyday life.
