RAM RIDER, an artist who will be holding a commemorative live concert to celebrate his 20th debut anniversary on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, will release his new album “REPLAY THE MAGIC” digitally on Friday, November 1st ahead of the event.
The title track “REPLAY THE MAGIC” was already played for the first time at the club event “ASOBIZA” held at ZEROTOKYO, and is a song that is highly anticipated as a club anthem. This album is typical of RAM RIDER, freely crossing dance music and pop, with new English lyrics “But I Can Love” featuring vocalist Marnie, and “TALK 2 TALK”, a solo work rebuilt from a song he produced. In addition, from Friday, October 11th, “REPLAY THE MAGIC”, “But I Can Love”, and “Overflow” will be released one song at a time from the album each week. They are sure to help build excitement for the live show.
In addition, it has been decided that a limited edition CD of this work will be released. It will be sold at the venue of RAM RIDER’s 20th anniversary live “RAM RIDER 20th Anniversary LIVE “REPLAY THE MAGIC”” to be held on Saturday, November 9th. It was also announced that attendees who purchase platinum and gold tickets will receive a limited edition CD of this work as a bonus. The artwork for the CD, including the distribution jacket, was created by Sailor Chainsaw Haruyama, who also designed early works such as the debut song “MUSIC” and the album “PORTABLE DISCO”.
In addition, the previous album “AUDIO GALAXY -RAM RIDER vs STARS!!!-“, which featured Bose from Scha Dara Parr, Maki Nomiya from Pizzicato Five, Bakarhythm, ORANGE RANGE, and Shoko Nakagawa, which had been released on some music distribution services, will be simultaneously distributed on various subscription services including Spotify from Wednesday, September 25th, making it easier to access RAM RIDER’s music. With the expansion of distribution of past works and the new album, expectations are likely to rise even more for the 20th anniversary live show.
I made this new album with the feeling of starting time again, as if I was remembering the feelings I had when I made my debut. Musician
He began his career in the 90s. The vinyl records he released on his own label became a hot topic, and this led to him working on songs for many top artists.
He went on to write songs, lyrics, arrange music, and combine these into a producer, and as a DJ he has performed on numerous stages, including large festivals both in Japan and abroad.
He has now launched his own label, “401,” and in addition to releasing music, he is expanding the scope of his activities by producing numerous artists, idols, and voice actors, providing music for TV dramas, movies, and stage plays, and writing columns.
