A “short gallery” from Kyoto that plays Impressionist paintings will digitally release their 4th single “Moonlight” today, May 15th (Wednesday)!

From Kyoto, “Short Story Gallery”, which plays Impressionist paintings, digitally released its 4th single “Moonlight” today, May 15th (Wednesday).

Short Gallery is a band formed in Kyoto in September 2021 that is fascinated by impressionist paintings and plays emotionally from mirage-like landscapes to the core hidden within.

They have a unique world view that draws you in from the moment the sound starts playing, and their 4th single “Moon Light” is a song that represents their true essence.

It starts with a beautiful piano intro that seems to invite you to the story that is about to unfold, and develops into a solid rock sound towards the chorus.

I would like you to pay attention to this.

(Comment from the person)

Composer: Kimika Ito (Bas)
Debussy’s La Lune de Lune has been my favorite song since I was a child. She wanted to create a song with beautiful harmonies like this song, and as she was playing the piano, the phrase for her intro came to her.
It is a beautiful yet powerful song that highlights the classical piano that is a feature of Short Gallery.

Lyrics: Sho Shibata (Gt. & Vo.)
The crescent moon over the big city and the full moon at the beach were equally beautiful, and I couldn’t help but look at them. So I searched for the reason why the moon can be seen from anywhere in the world. The answer I arrived at is depicted in this song.

The 2nd single “Ironakikaze” is also the song that started the short story gallery.
The 3rd single “Night View” shows the musicality of the short story gallery.

After listening to the 4th single “Moonlight”, I would like you to enjoy the world view of each of the three previously released songs.

A band that is fascinated by Impressionist paintings and plays emotionally from mirage-like landscapes to the core hidden within them.

Formed in Kyoto in September 2021, they are currently expanding their activities to live houses across the country.

The newly released work “Dawn” is a work that is filled with the sounds and words of a short story gallery to the maximum extent possible, and is a work that is like a declaration of intent that shows the path of the short story gallery in the future.
