“Challenge Gourmet” is a popular project where you challenge yourself to see if you can eat an extra-large menu within the time limit.

Joining Yoshito in the challenge of eating a huge portion were Gal Sone, the original gluttonous queen, Ginji, a former professional baseball player, and Macho Aoki, a comedian. My eldest son, Ayato, and my second son, Hayato, participated in the cheering process.

The four of us took on the challenge of creating a gigantic “Chicken Giant Wheel! Giganto Yakitori Plate” with a total weight of 3.38kg and serving 8 people. Centered around 1 kg of rice, there was a gorgeous array of 2 20 cm long green onions (500 g), 2 meatballs (500 g) four times the size of normal meatballs, 20 yakitori and vegetable skewers, as well as fried cartilage and fries. The participants took on the grueling challenge of eating an impressive plate of toppings within a 40-minute time limit.

At the beginning of the meal, Yoshito was enjoying the taste, saying, “It’s aromatic, plump, and delicious,” and Gal Sone tsked at him, “Aren’t you eating the same thing as me?” Yoshito replied with a smile, “We are good at synchronized acrobatics, so we eat in sync with Gal Sone.” On this day, Yoshito will use the synchronization skills he has developed over the past 16 years to synchronize with the Gluttonous Queen and show off his strategy to eat everything. Seeing this, Ayato and Hayato cheered, saying, “Good, good!”, but there was also a scene where Gal Sone doubted him, “(The people who eat) haven’t changed, have they?”

Although he managed to lose 2.3kg in the first 35 minutes, his time was unfortunately up. In the end, he ate all 2.5 kg, showing an impressive performance even though it was his first attempt.

Yoshito, who showed great success in his first challenge, posted his enthusiasm for the future, saying, “I’ve always wanted to try big gourmet food, so I was happy to be able to appear this time! Please let me have my revenge again!” .
