[Ohara Yuno]On the first day of the release of the movie “Oishii Kyushoku,” she reveals her fulfilling feelings: “It’s such an important work to me that I would call it my masterpiece.”

Actor Yuno Ohara appeared on stage on the 24th to greet the audience on the opening day of the film “Delicious School Lunch: Road to Squid Meal,” which was held in Tokyo.

Set in a junior high school in the 1980s, this school lunch spectacle comedy depicts a battle between a school lunch fanatic, teacher Amarida Yukio (Ichihara), and a student who is also a school lunch fanatic, over who can eat school lunch “more deliciously.”

Ohara has appeared in popular productions such as “Laid-Back Camp△,” “Sweat and Soap,” “Boys with Secrets,” and “Expo no Taiyo,” and has steadily climbed the ladder as an actor, experiencing a wide range of roles with his relatable characters and unique voice.

In this production, Ohara will play Hirukawa Ai, a rookie teacher who has a crush on Amarida, following on from the drama “Delicious School Lunch Season 3.”

Before the stage greeting, Ichihara Hayato, Ohara Yuno, and Eiichi, who play teachers, and Tazawa Taisuke, who plays a student, surprised the audience by saying, “Good morning!” in imitation of the school greeting campaign, entertaining fans with the delicious school lunch world even before the event started.

Later, Ohara appeared on stage dressed in her costume of a bright wine-red jacket and a long black skirt, and said, “I’m Ohara Yuno, who played the role of Hirukawa Ai. This is a work that is so important to me that I would say it’s my masterpiece, so I’m truly happy that it has been released safely today. Thank you for your support today!”, revealing her strong feelings and confidence about the film.

Regarding the romance scene between Ai-sensei (Ohara) and Amarida-sensei (Ichihara), whom she admires, Ohara said, “There was a scene where I put my body on the line in a different sense from the typical love scene.” She continued, “I think it’s a famous scene in the drama, but when they get close to each other, Ai-sensei flinches, or takes a step back, but I think the sense of distance is different in the movie, so I hope you can feel that.” Ichihara replied, “Just like Yuno said, I put my body on the line. Before I knew it, I was doing an Ina Bauer,” which caused the audience to erupt in laughter.

Lead actress Ichihara expressed her gratitude, saying, “Delicious School Lunch started out really small five years ago, with no original story or anything. It was unexpectedly loved by so many people, and I am so happy from the bottom of my heart that we are now getting to the third installment; it feels like a dream.” She continued, “I sincerely hope that the time you spend watching Delicious School Lunch will be a fun and wonderful time that you will never forget for the rest of your lives. Today’s time was short, but thank you so much!” Savoring every word, she expressed her hope that the production will be one that will remain in fond memories.

In addition to the stars Ichihara Hayato and Ohara, Tazawa Taisuke, Sakae Nobuyuki, Kosaka Kazuki, and director Ayabe Maya also appeared on stage to give the speech, which was met with thunderous applause and cheers from the audience in the theater.
