[Rina Asakawa]First appearance in a morning drama has been decided! Gal role in “Omusubi”

It has been announced that Rina Asakawa will appear as a new cast member in the NHK drama series “Omusubi” currently being aired. This work marks his morning drama debut.

Asakawa will play the role of Mutan, a gal who is Ayumu Yoneda’s (Riisa Naka) junior.

In this work, a gal from the Heisei era whose motto is “overcome any hardship cheerfully and robustly” becomes a nutritionist who supports people’s health, and solves the problems faced by modern people with “food knowledge and communication skills” while keeping an eye on the world. Heisei youth graffiti connects important things (relationships, people, eras) that are invisible to the naked eye one after another.

It was a great honor for me as I didn’t think I would have the opportunity to be involved in a morning drama.I was able to participate in the filming while observing every detail such as the movements of the set and staff and the performances of the performers. I am very happy.

Although my personality is far from that of a gal, I had a lot of fun playing the role because I was able to play with the character in my own way.
