The selected members of the 5th single of “Boku Waite Aozora” (commonly known as Boku Ao), which will be released on March 19th (Wednesday), will be announced today in a YouTube document at 21:00.

From the 2nd single, a selection system has been adopted, and out of the 23 members, selected members will be active as Aozora-gumi, and non-selected members will be active as Kumo-gumi.

Their 5th single will be their first in 4 months since their previous release, and expectations are high to see what kind of performance they will show.

The girls have also decided to hold BokuAo’s first national tour, “The Blue Sky I Wanted to See National Tour 2025,” which will tour 7 venues in 6 cities across the country from March 22nd (Saturday).

A 23-member group that debuted on August 30, 2023 with “Thinking about Aozora” as Nogizaka46’s official rivals. At the end of 2023, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Shining! Japan Record Awards, and their 2nd single, “Sodakutate”, released on January 31, 2024, introduced the first selection system and became a hot topic. Their 3rd single “Spare no Nai Koi” was released on August 7th. Her 4th single “Sukisugite Up and down” released on November 13th recorded her highest first week sales on the Billboard JAPAN weekly single sales chart “Top Singles Sales”. The idol group is currently gaining momentum, with the release of their 5th single on March 19, 2025, and the group’s first national tour touring 6 cities across the country from March 22nd.
