An event to commemorate the release of Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu’s new album “Tokimeki Rulebook” was held on December 4th at Sunshine City Fountain Square in Tokyo.
“Tokimeki Rule Book” is an album containing 11 songs that allows you to enjoy the various expressions of Cho Tokisen. To coincide with the release date of this work, Cho Tokisen stood on the stage at Sunshine City Fountain Square for the first time in about 5 years. As the start time of the event approaches, a large number of advertising staff (as Super Tokisen fans call them) gather not only in the space in front of the fountain plaza, but also on the upper floors connected by the atrium. Approximately 2,000 people enjoyed their live performance.
The event was divided into two parts, and both parts started with the lead song from the album, “How about you?” This song is a sequel to “Superlative ni Kawaii no!” which created a big buzz on TikTok this year, and Koresawa continued to write and compose the song. Cho Tokisen delivered cute lyrics and choreography with a dazzling smile, and performed a 360-degree singing voice while also looking upstairs. It also “locked on” the hearts of shoppers who happened to be passing by the fountain plaza.
In the second part, a cake with photos of the members printed on it was brought to the stage to commemorate the music video for “Saugyou ni Kawaii no!”, which was released on YouTube, reaching over 10 million views. The six members were showered with congratulatory words of “Congratulations!” from the promotional staff at the venue. Furthermore, the staff handed Kanami Tsujino a piece of paper and announced that her album “Tokimeki Rulebook” ranked 2nd in the Oricon Daily Album Ranking as of December 3rd. After the live performance, the members held a farewell party for those who purchased the “Tokimeki Rule Book.” I enjoyed interacting with the members of the advertising department.
In addition, Cho Tokimeki will hold a one-man live show “Let’s go! Cho Tokimeki♡ Sendenbu at Saitama Super Arena ~Cho Tokimeki Christmas~” at Saitama Super Arena on December 28th. Tickets for this live show are already sold out.
