It has been decided that the first art festival, a music festival for cat lovers to celebrate “Cat Day” on February 22nd, will be held for the first time! A cultural event has been born where artists and creators fascinated by cats gather to greet each other with “Happy Cat Day”!

“Happy Cat Day MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025” will be held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on Saturday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 23rd, 2025! A concert has become a reality where everyone can gather together with one thing in common: “I love cats!” Performing artists include Alcala, DENIMS, Yuga, Les Freres, and opening act Nyanzonu Desi, a cat lover, was announced today. In addition, we will also be announcing a “paw penlight” featuring a cat’s hand as a product unique to this festival! Additional information about the features and artists that everyone can enjoy will be announced from time to time.

Meanwhile, “Happy Cat Day NyART FESTIVAL 2025” will be held from February 7th (Friday) to March 27th (Thursday), 2025 at the special event space on the 4th floor of Harakado, located in the middle of Harajuku. A wide variety of cat works created by artists and creators fascinated by cats will be on display. Participating artists announced today are illustrator/graphic designer Akira Uno, cat photographer Masayuki Oki, picture book author/illustrator Isuke Yoko, artist Shinichi Wakasa, and artist/illustrator Toyachi Kako. We also look forward to additional information in the future. In addition, various projects will be held, such as the “NyAERA” corner and a corner that explores the history of humans being fascinated by cats and the muse “cats.” In addition to selling some of the art on display, there will also be sales of original goods, artist talk sessions, and workshops, so you can fully enjoy the charm of cats and art.

Actress Ai Yoshikawa has been appointed as the ambassador for this project, which will be held for the first time.
