Showa Kayo groups SHOW-WA and MATSURI will hold their first joint lunch and dinner show at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa[Hiten-no-ma]on December 21st.
We enjoyed Christmas lunch and dinner shows with about 1,000 people in total.
Before the event begins, each member greets with a shadow announcer. MATSURI’s Makoto Watanabe confessed his feelings before the performance, saying, “My legs are shaking because I’m nervous because it’s my first time on stage.”
At the opening, MATSURI appeared with enthusiastic cheers. They performed “All I want for Christmas” a cappella, drawing the audience in from the beginning of the event.
After that, they performed “Yume de Aetara” and “Kimi ga Iru Dake”. Every time the song ended, the audience erupted into loud applause and cheers.
During the MC, the MATSURI members got to see the customers dressed up, something they don’t often see, and were moved by the first sight that can only be seen at a dinner show.
Afterwards, they performed “Julia ni Shoko” and “YOUMG MAN (YMCA),” which they have been singing since their formation.
At the next MC, Onodera said excitedly, “It’s really fun. It’s going to be the best memory of this year!”
Afterwards, Matsuoka and the members all touch Watanabe’s hairstyle and make a series of gags, showing off how natural he is.
“Don’t be cool now” was the first song at this event that could be filmed, so everyone in the audience had their cameras ready. MATSURI members went around each seat one by one and appealed to the camera, and the members got close.
MC time: “I still wanted to visit the audience!” Onodera said. “It’s not enough rain. (lol)” Matsuoka said.
Inside the venue, the conversation between the two was warm.
At the end of the MATSURI part, the audience was filled with cries of, “Eh! Last?!”
The last performance was MATSURI’s debut song “Aventure Nakameguro” which will be released on January 22nd next year. Perhaps because it was their debut song, it got the loudest cheers of the day.
This was the first time the full-length performance was performed, and the audience seemed to be listening intently.
MATSURI excited the venue and SHOW-WA appeared in the second half as the excitement continued to cool down.
The SHOW-WA members seemed to be appearing from the stage, but they unexpectedly appeared from the back of the stage. There was an earth-shaking cheer. Afterwards, they moved through the audience seats to the stage.
The MC introduced himself, performed “Kita Sakaba,” and then it was time for a photo shoot.
Many customers were seen waving stick lights and taking pictures.
After that, it was followed by “Otome with flaxen hair” and the debut song coupling “Kiss Kiss Kiss”.
“Kiss Kiss Kiss” is the first full-length performance. “I was so nervous that I couldn’t get my lines out,” Terada said.
When asked to repeat this to the members, Terada said, “It doesn’t matter who opposes you! Just stick to your love.”
“That’s it for SHOW-WA!” Aoyama said as he was about to close the show. SHOW-WA’s unique dialogue will be on display.
The next songs were “Silent Eve” and “Christmas Eve,” which they performed quietly with a stand microphone, since it was Christmas time. He captivated the fans who gathered in large numbers.
After that, they performed “Shimajin Nu Takara”, which was sung only at the Okinawa release event.
They continued with “Ah Mujo”, “Megumi no Hito”, which they have been singing since their formation, and “The Only Flower in the World”.
The last part is the joint part of SHOW-WA&MATSURI.
When SHOW-WA called in MATSURI, MATSURI appeared while singing “The only flower in the world”. The voltage in the audience suddenly rose to its climax.
12 people sang “The Red-Nosed Reindeer” for Christmas.
Watanabe was seated in the audience, and the audience cheered.
The 12 members sang their song “Starry Street Corner” jointly in the audience.
Afterwards, a Christmas gift raffle will be held. It was a special event in which a gift selected by each member was given to the audience through a lottery.
Finally, he announced his goals for 2025.
Terada commented, “Next year, I would like to present a new song that surpasses “Your Prince” and perform live nationwide!” Yanagida enthusiastically said, “Next year, I would like to create an adventure whirlwind at “Aventure Nakameguro”!”
At the end, the 12 members gave a powerful performance of their original song “Dirty Tears”, bringing the first joint lunch and dinner show to a spectacular conclusion.

The SHOW-WA & MATSURI special lunch and dinner show was a great day with so many fans coming out.
Although this was our first attempt at the show, we had been preparing up until today with the sole focus on making sure the fans had fun, so it was a very happy time to see so many smiles on the faces of the fans.
I have my debut coming up next year, and I have dreams of Kohaku, but in order to grow MATSURI, I would like to first think about how I can make the fans in front of me even happier. Masu.
Our dreams have only just begun, so we will work together with our fans to make our dreams come true one by one.
