Singer-songwriter “Allen” released the album “Yaoi Hoshi” (pronounced “Night Crawling Star”), which was produced as an official tie-up song for “Japan’s Best Starry Sky – Heavenly Paradise Night Tour in Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture”, which started on Saturday, December 21st. : Yobaiboshi) was released on the same day, December 21st (Saturday).
This work includes two songs, including a tie-up song for Achi Village in Nagano Prefecture, “Yoirai Hoshi,” and Allen’s first instrumental song, “Encounter.”
Inspired by the shooting stars in Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture, which is certified by the Ministry of the Environment as “the village with the most beautiful starry sky in Japan,” this work was created with the theme of “night crawling stars,” another name for shooting stars.
“Yobashiboshi” is an expression that also appears in Sei Shonagon’s “The Pillow Book” as “Yobahiboshi”, and it depicts a person’s soul slipping out of the body and going to meet the person they love as a result of continuing to feel that they miss them. It is compared to a shooting star and is described as a “night crawling star.”

Located at the southern tip of Nagano Prefecture, it is a quiet mountain village known for “Japan’s best starry sky,” “Hirugami Onsen,” and “Hanamomo no Sato.” Hirugami Onsen’s alkaline simple sulfur spring with a pH of 9.7 is called the “hot spring for beautiful skin” and is visited by many customers throughout the year.
Since 2012, we have been holding events and creating places to look up at the starry sky with the theme of the starry sky, which was certified as the first place for stargazing (2006) in the nationwide continuous starry sky observation conducted by the Ministry of the Environment. I’ve been working on it. As of the end of March 2023, more than 1 million people have visited the starry sky viewing event.

From mid-April to late March, the gondola, which is 2,500m long and takes about 15 minutes, travels through darkness to an altitude of 1,400m. At the top of the mountain, where the city lights cannot reach, there is a sky full of stars, a talk by the guide, and a display of lights and images. You can enjoy the production and various starry sky themed contents.
