Hinase oysters do not shrink much when heated, and are characterized by their plump texture and delicious flavor. At this celebration, a special course using Hinase oysters was served, and Chef Tomizawa, a recipient of the Medal with Yellow Ribbon, showed off his skills.
Taira, who serves as the “Bizen Special Tourism Ambassador,” says of Bizen City, “It is a town with traditional culture and historical heritage, such as the historic “Bizen ware” and the “former Shizutani School,” which conveys the spirit of learning from the Edo period. . Surrounded by Seto, the sea, and mountains, the area is blessed with nature and a mild climate and has many charms! ”, he said of its appeal.
Also, Taira, who grew up oyster farming and eating local oysters as part of his school training, said of Hinase oysters, “Hinase oysters have big, dense flesh, and are really delicious! I want people to eat it,” he says excitedly.
At the celebration, Taira took the stage and gave a speech. “I am very happy to be able to participate in this memorable celebration.I am filled with happiness and nostalgic feelings because I was able to eat so many Nissa oysters that I have been familiar with since I was a child. I would like people to come and eat Hinase oysters,” commented Taira.
Regarding Hinase oysters winning the “National Oysters-1 Grand Prix”, Taira was asked about his desire to become number one in Japan, and he replied, “I think being number one in Japan is a very high level and something that is not easily attainable. However, since Nisse’s oysters have become the best in Japan, I am working hard to become the best in Japan as an actor and model. I think I have the best intuition in my personal life.I do things right away when I want to do something, and I sometimes make mistakes when it comes to things like shopping. I want to continue to live my life by trusting my intuition!” she said with a smile.
The Hinase Kaki Festival, which uses Hinase oysters, is scheduled to be held in Hinase-cho, Bizen City on February 23rd, and Taira has also been scheduled to perform.
