Art specialty program “MEET YOUR ART”.
This time, an interview video conducted at the exhibition venue of artist Maho Takahashi’s latest solo exhibition “Kami-sama.jpg” has been released.
In addition to the concept of this exhibition, whose theme is to explore the whereabouts of God in the age of SNS, the video also talks about how he became an artist after working as an illustrator and art instructor, and the process that led to his current style. It even talks about the meaning behind the motifs of the work.

■Takahashi Maho
Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1992. After working as a freelance illustrator and designer, he became an artist after serving as a lecturer at an art school for three years.
The girl’s figure is depicted as a mirror through which viewers can project themselves. In order to create large-scale works, he is based in his hometown of Chiba Prefecture, using the closed nursery school he attended at the time as his studio. He creates works regardless of whether they are two-dimensional, three-dimensional, or made of any material. Participated in Art Fair Tokyo 2022 and TAIPEI DANGDAI 2023. Currently active as a freelance writer both domestically and internationally.
