The seven-member dance and vocal group BALLISTIK BOYZ has started digitally releasing two new songs from their single “HIGHER EX,” which was released today.
The two new songs released today are “Good Day Good Night” by the four vocalists and “Mermaid” by the three rap team members. “Good Day Good Night” is a ballad song that expresses “the gratitude I have for my partner that I don’t usually get to express.” Masato Kotake, the first member of the group to write the lyrics, has created a work that allows you to experience a different side of BALLISTIK BOYZ from previous songs.
Like the title song, “Mermaid” was written and composed by the members. The initial impulse of unrequited love is expressed through natural rapping, and the combination of refreshing tracks makes it an addictive song once you listen to it. Each song has a completely different taste, so be sure to check them out along with the title song “HIGHER EX.”
On TBS TV’s “CDTV Live! Live!” broadcast on May 20th (Monday), the title song “HIGHER EX” was performed for the first time on TV, and “Bali-chan” was ranked in the X Trends and became a hot topic. Today, BALLISTIK BOYZ celebrates their 5th anniversary since their debut and will hold a live tour called “BALLISTIK BOYZ LIVE TOUR 2024 “HIGHER EX” at Act City Hamamatsu Large Hall (Shizuoka).
After the live performance, from around 21:30, a live broadcast will be held on CL/YouTube to commemorate the 5th anniversary of their debut and the release of their new single “HIGHER EX”. For those who can’t make it to the live show or those who are even slightly curious about BALLISTIK BOYZ, please check it out, as the content will allow you to look back on the group’s five years together.
