The first episode of the MBS Drama Special Zone series “The Overprotective Young Master’s Pampered Marriage,” starring actor Takano Akira, was broadcast last night.
Right from the first episode, Takano’s character, the young master, unleashes a series of sweet scenes, and many enthusiastic comments have been made online, such as “I died of my love” and “It was amazing from the very first episode.”

This work is a live-action drama adaptation of the hugely popular series “The Overprotective Young Husband’s Pampered Marriage,” originally published in Comic Tint, which has sold over 400,000 copies in total.
The story is about Someya Yukito, the young master of a long-established inn in Asakusa, and Tsuruoka Ione, a pure-hearted girl training to be a chef who was comforted by the sweet sugar candy that Yukito gave her when she was at her lowest point in her life, and who has since fallen wholeheartedly in love with him and regards him as her “oshi”.
This is a doting love story that begins with Yukito’s sudden proposal of marriage, depicting their overprotective and sweet newlywed life.

Takano, who plays the lead role in this film, has been making her presence known by appearing in a series of terrestrial television dramas this year, including the MBS drama “Ghost Yankee” which started in April, TBS’s “Kuruli: Who Fell in Love with Me?,” and TV Asahi’s “You Will Bloom with You: Shinsengumi Youth Record.”
In addition to being an actor, he is expanding his activities as an artist as well, and last year he successfully completed a nationwide tour to commemorate his fifth solo anniversary.
The ending theme song for this drama, “The Miracle of You,” was also written specifically for the drama.

Takano plays Yukito, a gentlemanly and earnest young master who everyone is attracted to, and he has been going full throttle since the first broadcast.
His doting behavior, which is often contrasted with his sweet words and actions only shown to Ione, and his adorable jealousy, have resulted in many heart-melting comments being posted on social media.
