The band “The Blue Sky I Wanted to See (commonly known as BokuAo)” has released the music video for “The Philosopher of Darkness” as part of the commemorative content for the first anniversary of their formation.

The 23-member group Bokutai Mita Aozora (commonly known as Bokuao) debuted on August 30, 2023 with “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” as the official rival of Nogizaka46. At the end of 2023, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards, and their second single “Graduation Made” released on January 31, 2024 was the first to introduce a selection system, which became a hot topic. They topped both the Billboard JAPAN weekly single sales chart “Top Singles Sales” and the Oricon daily single ranking chart.

At each venue of the “Boku Ao Nationwide Free Live” held by Aozora, which I wanted to see, you can get the first information. The music video for “Seifuku no Parachute” was released in advance at the Zepp Fukuoka venue the other day, and the total number of views of the music video related videos on SNS exceeded 550,000 in less than a week, and it has been well received.

The group is made up of 23 members who were selected from 35,678 applicants through a large-scale nationwide audition that began in February 2023.
As the “official rival of Nogizaka46,” she made her debut on August 30, 2023 with “Thinking About the Blue Sky,” and just six months after her debut, she won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. On January 31, 2024, she released her second single “Graduation Made,” which topped both the Oricon Daily Single Ranking and Billboard JAPAN’s “Top Singles Sales” charts.
They will hold a solo concert at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) to celebrate their first anniversary on June 22nd, 2024, and release their third single on August 7th, 2024.
