On May 30th, actor Takano Akira’s staff Instagram was updated with behind-the-scenes photos from the drama “The Overprotective Young Master’s Pampered Marriage,” in which he is currently starring.
This work is a live-action drama adaptation of the super popular serial “The Overprotective Young Master’s Pampered Marriage” originally published in Comic Tint, which has sold over 400,000 copies. It tells the story of Someya Yukito, the young master of a long-established inn in Asakusa, and Tsuruoka Ione, a pure-hearted girl in training to become a chef, who was comforted by the sweet sugar candy that Yukito gave her when she was at rock bottom in her life, and has been devoted to him ever since. This is a “doting” love story that depicts the overprotective and sweet newlywed life that begins with Yukito’s sudden proposal of marriage.
Takano, who plays the lead role, is currently making her presence known by appearing in a series of terrestrial television dramas on various networks, including TBS’s “Kuruli: Who Fell in Love with Me?,” and TV Asahi’s “I Will Go with You: Shinsengumi Youth Record.”
In addition to being an actor, he is expanding his activities as an artist as well, and last year he successfully completed a nationwide tour to commemorate his fifth solo anniversary.
She also performs the ending theme song “The Miracle of You” for this film.
