On Saturday, April 27, 2024, Aiobahn, a one-of-a-kind music producer/DJ with roots in electronic dance music and connections to Japan’s subculture scene, will hold his first event “ otoplanet” was held at duo SHIBUYA EXCHANGE.
This event has been held at numerous festivals and club events in Japan and abroad, including “Music Unity 2023” held in the international area of Haneda Airport Terminal 2, “DoKomi” in Dusseldorf, Germany, and “S2O” in Taiwan. This is the first time that Aiobahn, who has appeared in the show, will preside over the show.
Fans’ expectations were high because in addition to MARK ROBINSON, Tennyson, and PC Music Club, there would also be four guests, Yuka Nagase, who has previously participated in Aiobahn songs as a featured artist.
First up was MARK ROBINSON. Since he is in charge of his own fashion brand, many party people were in attendance, but he rocked the floor by playing his older brother Porter Robinson’s “Something Comforting” and “Cheerleader.” He gave a great performance as an opening act.
Next up is Tennyson. Starting with a heavy dubstep sound, he demonstrated his outstanding DJ skills by interweaving high-speed 4/4, breakbeat, drum and bass, etc. from the middle.
The next DJ act, Computer Music Club, takes a turn and gets the audience on board with groovy house beats. They filled the floor with a sense of happiness with their melodic electro sounds, including songs by New Jeans.
Next, Yuka Nagase appears. In her only live performance, she performed songs such as “Near, Far,” in which her clear singing voice floated over high-speed breaks. At the end, she sang “Sora de Oyasumi”, a collaboration song with Aiobahn, to loud cheers.
And finally, Aiobahn took the stage.
“This is my first event as an organizer, and I’m really happy to have my favorite people perform and to have so many people gather. The show started with the MC saying, “I don’t cry much, but I’m about to cry (lol), but I’ll do my best as a DJ (lol).”
The first song I played was “amnesia”, a collaboration song with rionos. As the chorus approached, spontaneous clapping broke out, and the venue’s voltage quickly heated up as the opening featured a new floor arrangement typical of Aiobahn.
Next, play “Good night in the air”. Yuka Nagase, who had just finished her live performance, appeared again and co-starred on stage. The long-awaited live collaboration drew loud cheers from the audience.
Since then, he has released many popular songs such as “Re: searchlight” featuring Nagi Yanagi and “Don’t Be Happy” with Akari Nanawo, as well as mash-ups of electronic dance music from the 2010s, which is his roots. . She performed a brilliant fusion of EDM and pop, an art form that only Aiobahn can do.
And at the end of the album, there was a message saying, “To express our gratitude to everyone who came to this live show, we are releasing this exclusively. ” and an unreleased new song.
