Tomonari Sora has been selected as the 27th Monthly Artist for Buzz Tracker, a program jointly run by short movie platform TikTok and audio streaming service Spotify to support artists.

“Buzz Tracker,” a combination of “Buzz” (trending) and “Track” (music/tracking), is a program in which TikTok Japan and Spotify Japan jointly support one “Monthly Artist” each month, taking advantage of the characteristics of both platforms.
On TikTok, the app will explore the appeal of artists from various angles through short videos and song pages, while on Spotify, the app will deliver the appeal of songs to users through various playlists including “Buzz Tracker.”

Tomonari Sora has been gaining attention on TikTok with his original songs and cover videos of him playing and singing J-POP and city pop songs. His song “Oni no Utage,” released in January, has gone viral and garnered an unprecedented response. Furthermore, his song “Nirametsuko,” released on May 15th, has gone viral mainly due to the choreography trend. He has now been selected as the 27th Monthly Artist by “Buzz Tracker.”
