GENERATIONS' Ryota Katayose visits the studios of contemporary artists in MEET YOUR ART[THE BASE]. Kohei Yamada, an up-and-coming artist who is gaining attention in the art world, appears!

“MEET YOUR ART” is an art project centered around an art-focused program with over 67,000 subscribers on YouTube.
In[THE BASE]the host, Ryota Katayose (GENERETIONS), visits the ateliers and production sites where artists start out.

This time, we will be featuring Kohei Yamada, an up-and-coming artist who has been extremely active both in Japan and overseas!
“I like watching more than drawing!”
Yamada says that during his student days he spent more time going to exhibitions than creating art, so what artists is he interested in now?
In his studio, which he renovated himself from a former car tire warehouse, Katayose delves deep into his work as an artist, all the way back to his origins.
