[Ohara Yuno]Reaction to confession of past fraud victim: “This was helpful” and “Thank you for letting me know” on the Internet




On the 7th, actress Yuno Ohara updated her official YouTube channel “Yunotube” and confessed about being a victim of a scam in the past.

Ohara has appeared in popular works such as “Laid-Back Camp△,” “Sweat and Soap,” “Boys with Secrets,” and “The Sun at the Expo,” and has played a wide range of roles, using her relatable characters and unique voice as her weapons.
She is currently appearing in the film “Delicious School Lunch: Road to Squid Meal,” which is showing nationwide, in the role of Hirukawa Ai, the heroine of Amarida, played by lead actor Ichihara Hayato, and has gained popularity.

At the beginning of this video, she begins with a sigh, “I was scammed…”, and then adds with a wry smile, “It wasn’t just once. There are a lot of scams all over me. In my phone.”

Ohara continued, “The scam I fell victim to was when I received an email from the bank I use saying, ‘They have restricted your deposits and withdrawals,’ and it said, ‘If you do not respond by the deadline, your account will be terminated…'” When Ohara revealed this, the staff reacted in surprise, saying, “That’s really scary!”

Ohara explained the situation at the time, saying, “I got really worried, wondering if it had been stopped to prevent fraud or something. As soon as I received this email, I entered my account number and password.”
He continued, “My mother usually lives alone next door, but she came over to visit, and when I saw this, I immediately entered the password! And my mother said, ‘Are you stupid? This is fraud.'” She said that her mother got angry at her.

Ohara said, “I was shocked to realize that someone like me could become a victim of something like this,” and explained how she came to make the video, saying, “Scammers’ methods have been getting more and more sophisticated recently, so I wanted everyone to know about it, so I decided to talk about it.”

Ohara was appointed one-day police chief at Mita Police Station in Minato Ward, Tokyo in April this year. He appeared at the Mita Police Station Special Fraud Eradication Campaign and called for the eradication of special fraud.
