[Furuta Airi]Will be appearing in the 2024 summer drama “Subarashiki Kaya, Sensei!”

On the 9th, model and actress Airi Furuta updated her official SNS account, revealing that she will be appearing in the ABC TV/TV Asahi “Sunday 10” time slot “Subarashiki Kana Sensei!” (starting in the summer, every Sunday at 10pm).

This original story, starring Ikuta Erika and written and directed by Takuma Takayuki, depicts the growth of a rookie teacher.
The story depicts the life of Rio Sasaoka (Ikuta), a second-year high school teacher, who struggles to find the right time to quit in an unreasonable educational environment, but continues to do her best for her students.

Furuta, who has been cast in the role of Isoda Hina, a student at Sasaoka, played by Ikuta, worked as a Popteen model until 2022 and has grown into a representative model of Generation Z with outstanding influence.
In recent years, she has also been active as an actress, appearing in the drama “Mars – Zero Revolution” which aired in January this year, and has been active in a variety of genres.

Auditions were held for the role of a student in this production, with around 1,300 people applying. It was a difficult competition with a ratio of around 35 to 1, but it was decided that she would appear in the film.
