All performances of the lecca LIVE TOUR 2024 “LIBERTY ERA”, which was held at Zepp in five cities from May to June 2024, came to a close amid excitement.
This tour will feature a mix of old and new hits, including the songs that have made lecca what they are today, as well as their newly released album, “LIBERTY ERA.”
At each performance, there will be a one-night-only stage performance featuring special guests who have honed their skills during lecca’s artistic career.
At the Nagoya concert, she performed “Flowers Blooming in the Night Sky” with MEGAHORN, at the Osaka concert she performed “Onna Forever welcomez lecca & MUNEHIRO” with MUNEHIRO, at the Tokyo concert she performed “Never Ever (feat. lecca)” with Yusuke, and at the Fukuoka concert she performed “Song of the Arabian Princess (with Recca)” with PANG, with whom she has worked together in the music industry as “Recca.”
At the tour finale, they performed “HI-TEN feat. ILMARI & SU” for the first time since their collaboration with lecca at Nippon Budokan in 2012.
This was the second time the three performed together, and their first time in about 12 years, so the venue was filled with excitement.
Lecca will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2026. There were many scenes where they spoke passionately about the fans and members who have supported them for many years, noting that they have spent time together just like them, and about the people who have supported them up until now.
[Excerpt from the live MC at the tour finale]
The LIBERTY ERA tour really went by in a flash.
It’s lonely. Seeing everyone’s faces and hearing their voices made me think that I have to come back soon. I’ve noticed this myself as the years go by, but when I sing, my lower body stops moving (laughs). I really wanted to tell everyone that I chose “Wonderful Life” at the very end of the main part of this tour. You’ve really lived a good life. That’s all.
People may say that everyone’s life is difficult. But I think every life is wonderful. I will insist on that no matter what anyone says. We don’t know how much life we have left. But if we can enjoy it and get excited about it until the very end, that’s the best! That’s 100 points. So, everyone, please go for a health checkup if you can (lol) Especially those over 40!
My music cannot be made by one person. I sing under my own name, but I receive a lot of influence and inspiration from the band members, dancers, and fans here every day. I’ve always thought that it’s not a song I make alone, but music I make together with everyone, and I still think that. This time, the LIBERTY ERA tour was only five shows, but it was so much fun. If it’s this much fun, I can’t help but think, “I wonder if I should make a song like this next time,” or “I wonder if I should try making a rhythm like this next time.”
This is that kind of place. A place where sound can be heard. I can carry the passion and joy I got here with me and run again. So thank you so much.
Let’s laugh together! Instead of hating each other, let’s all praise each other, laugh together, and be happy. It seems like we can still dream together from now on! Let’s make all the things we love, the things we want to do, the people we want to meet, the places we want to go come true! Thank you for always giving us so much courage! See you again!!
