The Blue Sky I Wanted to See (commonly known as BokuAo) has begun streaming the title track “Spare No Nai Koi” from their third single “Spare No Nai Koi,” which will be released on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, today, one year after the band’s formation.

The 23-member group Bokutai Mita Aozora (commonly known as Bokuao) debuted on August 30, 2023 as the official rival of Nogizaka46 with the song “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” (Thinking About Aozora). At the end of 2023, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards, and their second single “Graduation Made” released on January 31, 2024 was a hot topic as it was the first to introduce a selection system. Their third single is also scheduled to be released on August 7.
June 15, 2023 was the day when the Nogizaka46 official rival member announcement was held and the Aozora I Wanted to See was formed. The history of the 23 Boku Ao members began one year ago today.
“Love Without a Spare,” which will be released on this special day, is a refreshing pop song that sings about the excitement and thrill of falling in love with a light sound. How much easier would it be if there was someone else to take your place? Enjoy the melody and the conflicts of love.
Furthermore, on Friday, June 14th, Hokkaido native Kudo Yua made the first pitch at the Nippon Life Insurance Central League-Pacific League Interleague Game 2024 “Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters vs. Yomiuri Giants” held at Escon Field HOKKAIDO. Fellow Boku Ao members Suzuki Hayasaki and Konona Yoshimoto rushed to the venue to support Kudo, livening up the venue.
On Saturday, June 22nd, BokuAo will hold a one-man live concert “BokuAo: The Blue Sky I Wanted to See 1st Anniversary Formation Commemoration: The One-Man Live I Wanted to See vol.1” to commemorate their first anniversary. The concert will be held at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO), where BokuAo formed “BokuAo: The Blue Sky I Wanted to See” one year ago. We want to see how the 23 brave members of BokuAo have grown in the past year.

The group is made up of 23 members selected from 35,678 applicants through a nationwide audition that began in February 2023. (AKA Boku Ao) As the “official rival of Nogizaka46,” they made their debut on August 30, 2023 with “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” (Thinking about the Blue Sky), and just six months after their debut, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. On January 31, 2024, they released their second single “Graduation Made,” which topped both the Oricon Daily Single Ranking and Billboard JAPAN’s “Top Singles Sales” charts.
They will hold a solo concert at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) to celebrate their first anniversary on June 22nd, 2024, and will release their third single on August 7th, 2024.
