It has been revealed that model and actress Taira Minori will be making a regular appearance in the MBS Drama Special Zone “Ayaka-chan is in love with Hiroko-senpai” (starting July 4th, every Thursday from 24:59 and others), co-starring Kato Shiho (Hinatazaka46) and Mori Kanna.

This is an office girls love comedy about the ultimate misunderstanding between a junior who never gives up and a senior who can never be rejected.
When the first news was released, the birth of a Japanese pop GL (girls’ love) drama attracted a lot of attention both from within Japan and overseas, and it became a hot topic, trending in Japan on X, coming in third in search rankings, and the original book was temporarily sold out on Amazon.

Taira was selected as Miss Seventeen 2021 and is currently working as an exclusive model for Seventeen.
Last year, he appeared as the main guest in episode 6 of TV Tokyo’s “My Idol Became My Boss,” and this year he has become a regular on TV Asahi’s “Mars Zero no Kakumei.”
He is also one of the next generation actors currently attracting attention, having played the lead role in the stage production “ACTORS STAND vol.1 ‘Mukudomo'” organized by Avex Management Agency.
Furthermore, taking advantage of his artistic talent, he appeared in the watercolor painting category of MBS’s “Pre-Battle!!”. Despite it being his first time competing, he was promoted to a scholarship student at the age of 18, the youngest in the show’s history. He has since shown a wide range of achievements, including being promoted to Meijin Shodan at the age of 19, the youngest in the show’s history.

Taira will be playing Baba Marina, a regular at the lesbian bar that Hiroko-senpai frequents.
