The second installment of AWA’s first event, in which the right to appear on a terrestrial music program will be up for grabs, has already been announced!

AWA has decided to hold the second event for the right to appear on the new music program “AWA SONIC” which will start in July 2024 on Fukuoka radio station RKB Radio. Entries are now open ahead of the event.

The event for which entries have now begun is the second in a series of events following a highly competitive event in June, where RKB Radio and AWA collaborated to host the new music program “AWA SONIC,” with Maizuru Yokato, a virtual Hakata YouTuber who is popular in Fukuoka, as the host. Creators can broadcast their own music and performances to listeners across the country, including singing, playing instruments, airing original songs, and readings and talks that incorporate music. There are also chances to win great prizes, such as a tie-up for the ending theme of the program, production of a program jingle, a “program jack” where they can appear alone on an entire week of the program, and the right to appear on other regular RKB Radio programs.

In addition to the prize winners based on the number of points, this event will also have a new category for a “Director’s Award” in which the RKB Radio program director will watch the lounge of all those who streamed for a certain period of time and select the streamer who resonated with them the most. This makes it a special event where anyone can have a chance to appear on the program, just by streaming in the AWA Lounge.

As audio live streaming becomes more popular, AWA is leveraging the strengths of Avex and CyberAgent to provide streamers with many opportunities to shine and support them in their activities. This event was also realized from the desire of streamers to deliver their voices to more people. AWA is actively scouting people who want to seize the opportunity to discover breakout artists from audio live streaming and implement large-scale projects. ・If you win, you will be able to participate in either the recording on Wednesday, July 31st from 11:00 to 14:00 or Thursday, August 1st from 11:00 to 16:00.

*You can choose to either visit the RKB Mainichi Broadcasting Headquarters (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) or work remotely. (If you visit the office, you will be responsible for your own travel expenses.)
*On July 31st, recording will only be done in person at our office.
*You can enter if you can spare about an hour on any of the dates listed above.
*You can choose to either visit the RKB Mainichi Broadcasting headquarters (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) or work remotely.
