[Miyuu]Releases her first mini album in about three years, “MILESTONE,” on Wednesday, June 26th! The music video for the lead song “Over You,” inspired by watching baseball games, has been released!

Singer-songwriter Miyuu, who loves nature and traveling, released her first mini-album in about three years, “MILESTONE,” today, Wednesday, June 26th.

This work can be said to be the beginning of Miyuu’s second musical chapter, and while it incorporates her previous musical worldview, it also challenges genres such as rock and pop music.
Among them, the lead song “Over You” is a song that Miyuu herself created with her producer, inspired by watching baseball games. The song has a rock sound and lyrics that strongly encourage you, giving you a new side of Miyuu. The song is also used as the opening theme song for NHK-FM Music Line in June and July.
A music video filmed at the stadium was also released.

Other tracks included include a cover of “Bad Day” by Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Powter.
The mini album “MILESTONE” includes an acoustic live shooting live performance, “Miyuu Premium Shooting Live,” as an album-exclusive bonus.

This mini album, my first in three years, is packed with everything I wanted to try.
He switches from acoustic to electric guitar to sing cheer songs, love songs with a strong beat, and covers of Western songs that he has always wanted to include in his albums.
I made this piece with the aim of allowing people to enjoy Miyuu from many different angles. MILESTONE = Signpost. I hope this piece will be a signpost for me and for those who listen to it!

◆Miyuu Profile
Reading: Miyu
A singer-songwriter who loves nature and traveling. Based in Kanagawa Prefecture, he travels around the country with his iconic left-handed acoustic guitar and his DIY car.
He majored in tourism studies as a student, and began his musical career after posting a video on YouTube of him singing and playing the guitar at the temples and shrines of Kyoto, a popular tourist spot.
In May 2022, his first book of audio, “30DAYS VAN LIFE~Trip on Music~”, which was produced while traveling around Japan camping in a camper van he drove himself, was published nationwide by TWO VIRGINS.
He is currently appearing in JAL in-flight videos “Detox Strip in Miyazaki” and “Sustainable Trip in Iriomote Island.”
We planned the “Sandy Beach Movement” with the Nature Conservation Society of Japan and participate in marine conservation activities under the SDGs every year.
Inspired by the encounters he has on his travels and by nature, he not only performs live and composes music, but also appears in tourism promotional materials and runs the lifestyle brand “RON FOLK CO.”
In 2016, the digital single “Southern Waves” was released.
In 2018, they made their major debut with the album “COME ONE, COME ALL”.
Since then, he has released albums four years in a row.
On July 5, 2023, the first drama tie-up song, “magnet,” will be released digitally.
