Zebrahead, the American punk rock band that injects smiles and energy into the world, came to Japan in March this year to perform at the Japanese festival PUNKSPRING 2024, their first appearance in about four and a half years since SUMMER SONIC 2019, and performed a solo concert titled “Zebrahead’s Eve Festival Live” on the day before the festival. They released their new song “I Have Mixed Drinks About Feelings” today, June 26th.
“I Have Mixed Drinks About Feelings” is the pre-release single from the third EP in the Zebrahead EP series, “I,” which is scheduled for release on November 13th of this year, following the EP “III” in 2021 and the EP “II” in February 2023.
“I Have Mixed Drinks About Feelings” is a fast-paced, aggressive track, yet with a very melodic zebra sound.
The lyrics are directed at friends and fans who support each other, and are themed around bonds, such as “an unforgettable night, a night with unforgettable friends.”

“I’m super excited for my latest single to be heard by fans all over the world.
I’ve had a really hard time these past few years, so now is the time to let go and have some fun. This song is for those times in life when you feel bad and negative.
It’s a song to remind us that we’re not alone, that there are so many out there who feel the same pain.”
This is the adrenaline-pumping song that fans have been waiting for.
The songs included in the EP “I” will be released in advance from July to October, so look forward to it.
Zebrahead is scheduled to appear at various festivals around the world this year as well.
While they are busy with studio sessions in between, they are now set to hit the ground running with their EP “I” and bring smiles to the world.
