Menicon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 21-19 Aoi 3-chome, Naka-ku, Nagoya; President and COO: Kawaura Yasutsugu) released a new visual on July 1, 2024, featuring Akari Takaishi as the new image character for its daily disposable color contact lenses, 1DAY FRUTTIE.

“1DAY FRUTTIE” was launched in 2020 as a color contact lens inspired by the image of round, adorable, and fresh eyes like fruit, with the concept of “eyes full of vitality and freshness.” Two more colors were added in 2023, and the current lineup of five colors has been well received.

We have appointed Akari Takaishi, who has attractive large eyes and is garnering attention as the next breakout actress, as the new image character for “1DAY FRUTTIE”. The image visual has been completely revamped, and she expresses the five lens colors with various expressions, including a soft and gentle atmosphere and a sparkling smile.

Born in Miyazaki Prefecture
He began his acting career in earnest in 2019.
