“Waterweed” is a band that has led the scene as a pioneer since the early days of loud music. A UK/EU version was also released by the prestigious British label “Lockjaw Records”, and while the band’s reputation in Japan is increasing as a re-import, both of their last two singles have been featured in anime and are attracting attention.

They have announced that they will be releasing their new album “Departures” on May 10th.
At the same time, they have announced that they will be releasing five advance singles in succession starting today.

The first song is “Clean your hand, Clean your heart,” which is a one-minute “impulse” and “confession” song. At a time of unprecedented hardship due to the global pandemic, he inspires us to “fight against the invisible darkness.” The title is a metaphor for that.

Upcoming performances include “Hourglass” on April 26th (Friday), “My excuse” on May 1st (Wednesday), “Leave me alone” on May 3rd (Friday), and “The only way” on May 8th (Wednesday). We will release them one after another.
