The second season of the drama “Yukite Saku with You ~Shinsengumi Seishunroku~”, based on the original work by Tezuka Osamu, will begin at 0:15 on Wednesday, July 17th. The unit “Kimiyuki”, who will be singing the opening and ending theme songs for the drama, will release a new song.
“Kimiyuki” is made up of 10 members of the Shinsengumi who appear in the drama, including co-stars Maeda Kentaro and Oku Tomoya.
The unit is made up of young, up-and-coming actors, including actors with experience appearing in the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series, actors active in dramas, movies, musicals and stage productions, and YouTubers.
The new song, “Zero”, the opening theme for the drama, will be released on Wednesday, July 17th. The ending theme, “Rin no Hana”, will be released on Wednesday, July 24th.
Comments from the lead actors, Maeda Kentaro and Oku Tomoya, have also arrived regarding the release of the new song.

“Zero” is a song that shows the conflicts each member of the Shinsengumi feels, and there are parts in the dance choreography where each member does their own different movements, so I hope you will pay attention to each member individually.
“Rin no Hana” is a ballad-style song, and to borrow a line from his usual masterpiece, it is a very “ephemeral” song.
When I was given the singing part, I was really happy to hear that I had the chorus part, and I was really motivated to record it! I hope everyone will listen to it!
I think many people were surprised that the series would be broadcast for two seasons, but for us too, playing the same role for two seasons was a valuable experience, so we took our time to really get to grips with the characters and carefully crafted them.
From now on, the Shinsengumi members will fight with their own thoughts in mind.
Both songs express the conflict and transience of the Shinsengumi, so I would be happy if you listen to them along with the main story.

The best part of the opening song “Zero” is the last chorus. It starts with Takahito Nagata’s shout, which makes the song feel more united. I love that part, so I’d love for everyone to listen to it.
I really like the intro to the ending song “Rin no Hana.” Just imagining it playing during or at the end of an upcoming drama makes me feel emotional, coupled with the content.
The second season begins with the emotional distance between Okajuro and Daisaku growing, and the relationships between the Shinsengumi members also gradually change.
What fate awaits them? Look forward to the music that perfectly accompanies this story of rapid change!
