Hitomi will be appearing at the music event “BALL & MUSIC FESTIVAL” to be held at Wakayama Castle Hall’s main hall on August 10th.
This music event is sponsored by GAUCHER, an apparel brand founded by former Hanshin Tigers player Yuya Yokoyama and others.
Based on the concept of “baseball and music as a lifestyle,” special live performances will be held featuring guest artists including hitomi, Berry Goodman, Sakai Noriko, Ban Tomiko from Do As Infinity, and HARTY.
The MCs will be the comedy duo Aozora’s Tomomi Oka and Miho Sumida, who will liven up the midsummer music festival. In addition, it has been announced that local kids dancers will also be on stage as a way of contributing to the local community.
Hitomi, who will be performing at this innovative festival, made her CD debut in November 1994. She has had many hits, including “CANDY GIRL,” “LOVE 2000,” and “SAMURAI DRIVE.”
Currently a mother of four, she continues to vigorously pursue her career as an artist, and in addition to her work as a singer, she is also active in many other areas, including as a talent and model, as well as directing apparel, beauty care products, and health foods.
Hitomi is enthusiastic about her performance in Wakayama, saying, “I will be performing at the BALL & MUSIC Festival. I think this will be my first time performing in Wakayama! I’m working on getting in shape from now on, and I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone on a hot summer day.”
I can’t wait to experience this new and exciting event that combines “baseball” and “music” from Wakayama.
