The Blue Sky I Wanted to See (commonly known as BokuAo) has released the cover photo for their third single, “Spare No Nai Koi” (First Edition Type-D), which will be released on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

The 23-member group Bokutai no Aozora (commonly known as Bokuao) debuted on August 30, 2023 with “Aozora ni Tsuite Kangaeru” as the official rival of Nogizaka46. At the end of 2023, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards, and their second single “Graduation Made” released on January 31, 2024 introduced a first-of-its-kind selection system, which became a hot topic. They are also a rising idol group that was recently announced to be in charge of the theme song and insert song for the animated film “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi” which will be released nationwide on October 25. The music video for “Spare no Nai Koi”, the title track of their third single, which is scheduled to be released on August 7, has been well-received, having been viewed over 800,000 times in just under two weeks since its release.
The jacket photos for five of the six versions of the 3rd single “Spare no Nai Koi” have been released and are already creating a buzz.
The only unreleased cover for the ＜First Press Type-D＞ has finally been revealed, featuring a newly drawn illustration by Ueda Atsuo of the characters “Natsu” and “Lucy” from the TV anime “FAIRY TAIL 100 Year Quest”, with the blue sky that I wanted to see in the background. This special collaboration was made possible by the song “Tomo yo Koko ni Sayonara Da” that is included in this version, which has been chosen as the ending theme for the TV anime “FAIRY TAIL 100 Year Quest”.
This version will be of great interest not only to Aozora fans, who I wanted to see, but also to fans of the TV anime “FAIRY TAIL 100 Year Quest.” It also includes the Music Video for “My Friend, Here We Say Goodbye” and a documentary on the making of the Music Video for “My Friend, Here We Say Goodbye,” so be sure to check them out as well.

The group is made up of 23 members selected from 35,678 applicants through a nationwide audition that began in February 2023. (Commonly known as Bokuao) As the “official rival of Nogizaka46,” they made their debut on August 30, 2023 with “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” (Thinking about the Blue Sky), and just six months after their debut, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. On January 31, 2024, they released their 2nd SINGLE “Sotsugyo Made,” which was the first time they had introduced a selection system, and on June 22, they held a one-man live show @Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) to celebrate their 1st anniversary since their formation. On August 7, they will release their 3rd SINGLE “Spare no Nai Koi.” In addition to being in charge of the ending theme for the TV anime “FAIRY TAIL 100-Nen Quest,” they will also be in charge of the theme song and insert song for the theatrical animation “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi.”
