The four-member rock band I Don’t Like Mondays., which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has released their second new song of the year, “Lonely Dancers.”
A music video was also released at the same time.

This work is a dance pop that is characteristic of Idolla, combining band sound and programmed beats. Overall, the dark and mysterious sound is perfectly combined with a sense of speed.
This album shows a different approach from their previous album “New York, New York,” which was based on a UK sound and had a full-on band sound, and it reaffirms their wide range of talent, incorporating a wide range of genres.

The music video features all the members for the first time in a while, and is composed of stoic performance scenes in a minimalist space. The direction is handled by OFBYFOR, who has been handling many of IDOL’s creative projects since last year. It embodies their solid worldview that is different from Japan.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary since their debut, IDOL is not only releasing new music but also performing live. In late April, they completed their solo tour “Island Tour” visiting 13 cities on the main island of Japan in just one month.
Starting this autumn, they will be performing in eight cities across Japan, as well as their first Asian tour.
