He first came to prominence at the age of 15 and became the youngest person to ever win the “BAZOOKA!!! High School Rap Championship,” which has produced many stars such as T-Pablow and Chanmina.
Novel Core’s talent was recognised and he signed a contract with Zeebra’s hip-hop label. Although his origins as an artist are in the hip-hop scene, after his major debut he has not been bound by genre, but has actively crossed over with rock and pop, which are his roots, and has greatly expanded the scope of his activities with his diverse musical sense.
He has now announced that he will be releasing the song “MBTI” on Wednesday, July 24th, produced by K LARK aka KOTA, who is the DJ & Manipulator for his house band, THE WILL RABBITS, and has produced songs for eyden and BLAISE (kiLLa).
In January of this year, he held a completely sold-out solo concert at Nippon Budokan, and with a solo concert at Yokohama K Arena scheduled for February next year, he will be appearing at Japan’s largest MC battle “BATTLE SUMMIT II” to be held on August 14th, and has hinted at the existence of a new song “SKILL TEST” produced by Chaki Zulu. He also continues to approach the hip-hop scene with his latest singles, “CHAOS” released in March and “SHIKATO!!!” released in June.
Novel Core also appeared in Ninja We Made It.’s popular YouTube segment “How’s it going 2.0,” which was released today, and the song was made public for the first time in the video ahead of the release.
In addition, it has been announced that the full version will be aired for the first time on J-WAVE’s “TURNING BACK” (every Friday from 1:30 am to 3:00 am), hosted by Novel Core, which will air from 1:30 am tonight.
