The Blue Sky I Wanted to See (commonly known as BokuAo) has announced that the music video for “If We Meet at the Entrance”, which will be included in their 3rd single “Love Without a Spare”, scheduled for release on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, will be premiered on YouTube at 8pm tonight.

The 23-member group Bokutai no Aozora (commonly known as Bokuao) debuted on August 30, 2023 as the official rival of Nogizaka46 with the song “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” (Thinking About Aozora). At the end of 2023, they won the New Artist Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards, and their second single “Sotsugyo Made” released on January 31, 2024, was the first to introduce a selection system, which became a hot topic. Their third single will be released on August 7, and their one-man live show “Aozora Summer Festival 2024” will be held on August 30 to celebrate their first anniversary since their debut. This idol group is on a roll, having been announced to perform the theme song and insert song for the animated film “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi” which will be released nationwide on October 25.
“If I Meet You at the Entrance” is the first duet song by Hayasaki and Yanagihori. It is a song that expresses the heartfelt wish of “I wonder if I’ll meet the man I love by chance on my way home after school?” in the tune of Showa era pop music.
In the music video being released tonight, be sure to pay attention not only to the song, but also to the sad yet emotional world created by Hayasaki and Yanagihori.
In addition, the “Boku Natsu Campaign” was just announced, which will be held in conjunction with the “Aozora Summer Festival 2024” to be held on August 30th, the debut day, and the “individual handshake events and more” to commemorate the release of the 3rd single “Spare no Nai Koi” in which this song will be included. Be sure to check out the event where you can do “radio calisthenics” with the members, as well as the event where you can receive a “Boku Aomaru katagami fan (randomly with a member’s message and autograph)”.

[The blue sky I wanted to see]
The group is made up of 23 members selected from 35,678 applicants through a nationwide audition that began in February 2023. (Commonly known as Bokuao) As the “official rival of Nogizaka46,” they made their debut on August 30, 2023 with “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” (Thinking about the Blue Sky), and just six months after their debut, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. On January 31, 2024, they released their 2nd SINGLE “Sotsugyo Made,” which was the first time they had introduced a selection system, and on June 22, they held a one-man live show @Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) to celebrate their 1st anniversary since their formation. On August 7, they will release their 3rd SINGLE “Spare no Nai Koi.” In addition to being in charge of the ending theme for the TV anime “FAIRY TAIL 100-Nen Quest,” they will also be in charge of the theme song and insert song for the theatrical animation “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi.”
