“MEET YOUR ART” is an art project centered around an art-focused program with a YouTube channel subscriber count of approximately 70,000.
This time, artist Natsuki Takayama, who creates sculptural works using syringes, will be appearing on the program for the first time in three and a half years!
Takayama, who appeared on the program early on, will be taking a deeper look at the background to how his work has changed over the past three and a half years, as well as his new works inspired by natural geological strata.
Takayama has also confirmed his participation in MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2024 “NEW ERA,” which is scheduled to be held in the Tennozu Canal area of Tokyo from October 11th (Friday) to 14th (Monday, holiday).
We invite you to experience Takayama’s works, which will be exhibited at “5 SENSES,” a collaborative project with Bombay Sapphire.

︎Natsuki Takayama
Born in Tokyo in 1990. Takayama creates paintings mainly using two-dimensional works, spraying acrylic paint with a syringe. He creates works using a technique that can be described as tactile or sculptural, treating the paint like flowing particles, layering them, and then carving them with a carving knife. He sublimates the sensation of touching materials into expression, as if trying to recover the relationship between various objects and humans that has been lost in modern times. The world of Takayama’s works expands based on a view of nature in which people, animals, objects, and the environment are one.
