The idol group Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu, who are on a roll, have been going strong, with their heartbreak song “You’re the Cutest!”, written and composed by Koresawa, becoming a hot topic on TikTok, with the total number of views on the app exceeding 900 million. They held their first solo overseas concert in Korea on Saturday, July 27th at YES24 WANDERLOCH HALL in Seoul.
This performance is part of the summer nationwide tour “Super Tokimeki♡Sendenbu’s Lock On to Your Heart TOUR 2024,” which kicked off on Monday, July 15th (national holiday) at the Fenice Sakai Grand Hall in Osaka. The nationwide tour is scheduled to include 11 performances in 9 cities, including two performances in two overseas cities.
In 2021, “I Love You! ~Super Version~” became a global hit, topping the Korean TikTok charts thanks to Korean influencers, and their latest song “The Cutest!” has led to famous Korean artists such as ILLIT, ZEROBASEONE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and RIIZE posting dance videos one after another, making it a hit both at home and abroad, which led to this Korean performance.
During the encore, they performed a birthday surprise for Sakai Nika, who celebrated her birthday on the 25th of this month, and the Korean version of “SUKI! Super ver.”, which was digitally released in January last year, “SUKI! Korean ver.”, and the venue was filled with the excitement of the local fans who had come to the venue.
On August 3rd, the group will hold a solo concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, the second city of their national tour.
