Singer-songwriter Haku, who draws inspiration from anime and manga and creates his own unique style of music by spinning new stories from the original, has announced that he will be performing the opening theme song for the drama “Kore,” which will begin airing on CBC TV at 12:58 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Based on “Fear – Reiwa Kaidan” by Kawakami Juoku (Cycomi/Cygames), which is being serialized on an electronic comic site, this drama depicts themes symbolizing the Reiwa era, such as sugar dating, AI, and ASMR. Takaki Yuya, who will be appearing in a terrestrial drama for the first time in two years, plays the role of a mysterious, aggressive streamer who pursues the main character, Mizoguchi Mayu (Riko), in this modern horror drama that explores the fears that may be lurking close to us.
The opening song, “disbelief,” written specifically for this album, is a stylish and dramatic song that depicts the dark side of social media, inviting you into another world as the curtains of night fall. It is scheduled for digital release on Thursday, August 15th.
