[Takaishi Akari]Will appear in the film “Watashi ni Fusawasii Hotel,” the most “dangerous” work by novelist Yuzuki Asako! “I had a powerful and fun time acting!”

Actor Takaishi Akari has been confirmed to appear in “Watashi ni Fusawasii Hotel” (released December 27th), which is said to be Yuzuki Asako’s most “dangerous” work and will be made into a movie this winter.

This work is an entertainment story about the rise of the underdog in the literary world, and follows the story of Kayoko (Non), the most unfortunate new writer in literary history, who won a new writer’s award but was unable to make a brilliant debut or get a chance to publish her novels due to harsh criticism from the veteran writer Higashijujo Munenori, as she attempts to make a comeback in the literary world.

When Kayoko, played by Non, stays at the “Yamanoue Hotel” that she has always dreamed of, she finds out that Tojujo is staying on the floor above her. With the help of her senior from her university days, editor Enmichi, she interferes with Tojujo’s writing, causing Fuminaga’s manuscript to fail on the deadline. The comical confrontation between Kayoko and Tojujo is the highlight of this film.

Additional cast members have now been announced, with Takaishi’s appearance being announced alongside other impressive actors such as Tanaka Kei, Takito Kenichi, and Tanaka Minami.

Takaishi won the Best New Actress Award at the 15th TAMA Film Awards last year.
Most recently, she has been cast in the drama “Crashing JK and haijin teacher Lesson 2” (MBS/TBS Dramaism), as the heroine, in the film “Baby Warukyure Nice Days” (released September 27th), the film “Shinmai Kisha Trollco: If I Don’t Do It, Who Will?!” (released August 9th), and the anime film “Kimi no Iro” (released August 30th), and has continued to appear in films and dramas, making her a young actor who is currently attracting a lot of attention.

This time, Takaishi will play Miwako, a rebellious girl who holds a grudge against Kayoko, played by Kenichi Takito, for rejecting her manuscript and who is the only one who cannot stand up to Higashijujo Munenori, a famous author who controls the publishing industry and who uses every trick in the book to corner Kayoko so that she cannot survive in the publishing industry.

Regarding her role in this film, Takaishi said, “I am truly honored to have had the opportunity to work with such a wonderful cast and director Tsutsumi Yukihiko. I was overwhelmed with emotion as I was able to see up close how Non’s expression, voice, and mannerisms as Kayoko changed rapidly within a single scene.
It was a luxurious time with people I had hoped to spend someday with. Even now, when I think back on it, it feels like a dream.
“I had a powerful and fun time playing Miwako, who is in the midst of a rebellious phase against her father. I hope you’ll come to the theater to experience the dialogue between the unique characters!” she said, expressing her joy at working with the star-studded cast.
