Musical actor Kaiho Naoto releases the theme song “Sakamichi” for the documentary film “A Hope of Nagasaki: Kind People” digitally today!




The voices of 10 Nagasaki atomic bomb survivors who have never been heard in the media before are included in this book.
The theme song for the testimonial documentary film “A Hope of Nagasaki: Kind People” (released in 2021), sung by Kaiho Naoto, a leading actor in the musical world, “Sakamichi” has been released digitally.

The song was released as a limited edition CD single in 2021 to coincide with the release of the film, and will now be available digitally for the first time.

The theme song “Sakamichi” was composed by Kaiho Naoto, who has played leading roles in numerous productions such as “Les Miserables,” “Anastasia,” and Shiki Theatre Company’s “Aladdin,” “The Lion King,” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” and the musical director of the musical “Phantom,”
Teaming up with Mori Ryohei, who has conducted the orchestra in “Les Miserables” and “Miss Saigon,” Kaiho Naoto’s gentle voice sings of a desire for peace that overcomes the sad past and looks toward the future of Nagasaki.
