The drama “Fear” will be broadcast on CBC TV from 12:58 a.m. on Thursday, August 15th.
The series is based on Kawakami Juoku’s (Cycomi/Cygames) highly acclaimed serial “Fear -Reiwa Kaidan-” on the smartphone and PC manga service Cycomi, and depicts themes symbolizing the Reiwa era, such as sugar daddy relationships, AI, and ASMR.

The drama “Fear” is attracting attention, even in the preview video posted on YouTube.
Ahead of the first broadcast at 12:58am, we will be revealing the main visual featuring Riko as the main character, Mayu Mizoguchi, and Yuya Takaki as the mysterious, attack-style streamer, Yamakazu!
Additionally, the script will be written by Iwasaki Udai (Kamomentaru), a multi-talented man who is a screenwriter and comedian who also writes scripts for stage plays and TV dramas, and others, who will bring a unique atmosphere to the urban and stylish worldview of “fear.”
In addition, the previously announced special screening event for the drama “Fear” on Saturday, August 24th, with a stage greeting, sold out all seats immediately!
The screening event will be a special advance screening version that will be shown before any other, including episodes 3 and 4, in which Yamakazu begins to take action and gets closer to Mayu’s true nature.

■ #01_Sugar Daddy Activity: Synopsis
Hinata Tanabe, a part-time worker, goes out to dinner with a man named Takino whom she met on a dating app.

Hinata can’t bear to see him get depressed as he remembers those days, so she comforts him. Takino is touched by his kindness and hands Hinata an envelope before leaving.

Not understanding what has happened, she lives as Ayumi, but she gets into trouble at a cosplayer photoshoot and loses her life again in fear…
Once again, Ayumi finds herself transformed into a different person, an office lady named Kanae Shindo, and is assailed by a new fear.
Kanae is at a loss as the mystery deepens: why does she become a different person every time she dies?
Meanwhile, Yamakazu (Yuya Takaki), a shocking streamer, discovers that a mysterious woman, Mayu Mizoguchi (Riko), is involved in various murder cases occurring in the city. What is Mayu’s true identity?
