CL, a member of 2NE1, a four-member girl group under YG ENTERTAIN MNET, which announced that it will be restarting in 2024 to celebrate its 15th debut anniversary, appeared as a surprise guest at the finale of the Asia tour of junior group TREASURE, generating a lot of buzz.
On Thursday, August 15th, the “2024 TREASURE RELAY TOUR (REBOOT) FINAL IN SEOUL” was held at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul. The venue was filled with excitement as the group performed in Seoul for the first time in about eight months since their concert in December last year. However, the moment senior artist CL appeared on stage as a surprise guest, the venue erupted in excitement with loud cheers. TREASURE has never had a guest perform at their solo concerts before, so the fact that senior CL came to support them as the first guest and performed a special stage was a sign of affection for their juniors at the final performance.

When 2NE1 announced that they would be holding the “2024 2NE1 CONCERT (WELCOME BACK) IN SEOUL” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on October 5th and 6th of this year, over 400,000 people rushed to the ticket sales website on the day of ticket release, and the tickets were immediately sold out. In response to this situation, an additional performance at the same venue was announced on October 4th. In Japan, performances have also been scheduled in Kobe and Tokyo in November and December, and expectations are rising for the future success of 2NE1, a legendary K-POP girl group with a charismatic presence.
