Seiko Omori, who is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her major debut, has revealed the cover photo of her full album “THIS IS JAPANESE GIRL,” which will be released on September 18th, her birthday and the anniversary of her debut.
Like the artist photo released the other day, this photo was taken by photographer Masashi Sanai.
Masashi Sanai has been involved in milestone works in Omori’s career thus far, such as her major debut album “Brainwashing” and “Re: Re: Love,” a collaborative song with Omori’s much respected Kazunobu Mineta (Gin Nang BOYZ) released to commemorate her 5th anniversary as a major label member, and this work captures the natural side of Omori Seiko as she celebrates her 10th anniversary as a major label member.
The releases come in three formats: a first-run limited edition set that includes the CD album, a Blu-ray packed with footage of three live performances of Omori Seiko in various arrangements and a self-written liner notes booklet for each song; a “night version” that comes with a DVD; and a “day version” that is CD only.
In addition, CD shop purchase benefits have also been announced.
From items linked to the album to posters using 10th anniversary visuals available to the fan club, all of the items are luxurious and fitting for the anniversary year, so be sure to get them.
In addition, to promote this album, the band will be performing on the “THIS IS JAPANESE GIRL TOUR,” which will begin in Niigata on Saturday, November 9th and conclude in Sendai on Sunday, December 22nd, for a total of eight shows.
General advance sales will start from 11:00 on Monday, August 19th.

The CD will contain a total of 13 songs, including “Mugen Rise” released last year, as well as the new song “License Room Dystopia” and 11 other songs, including a song written in collaboration with Tsunku!
The Blu-ray included with the first production limited edition contains three live performances that allow you to enjoy Seiko Omori’s various live styles, plus some audio commentary! In addition, it comes with a lyric booklet with handwritten liner notes for each song, making it a very voluminous content!
The DVD includes a compilation video selected by Seiko Omori from the “KILL MY DREAM TOUR 2023”, which featured 19 performances at 17 locations across the country!
