The behind-the-scenes footage of this music video, which was shot in New York, shows the members genuinely enjoying their first overseas location shoot, including scenes of them appearing natural and communicating with local people. The lead track from BE:FIRST’s long-awaited second album is a song that celebrates the life they’ve lived so far.
BE:FIRST has made an impact on the world with their hard tracks up until now, but this time they have completely changed their look. Over the simple and comfortable track by Zen (INIMI) that has a strong taste of mid-2010s HIPHOP, they sing about how hard, rough and tough their journey has been, and how it is therefore valuable to be able to spend this moment together with their friends who have shared the good times and the bad, and celebrate their success together.
In today’s society, where the development of social media and the acceleration of communities that incite division have made it commonplace for people to sometimes scorn, belittle, and put others down, this is a song by BE:FIRST that shines with the preciousness of self-love, not self-love, but self-love, where people improve and recognize each other without comparing themselves to others.
This work is BE:FIRST’s first time shooting overseas, and the setting is New York. “2:BE”, their first original album in two years, which includes “Blissful”, will be released on Wednesday, August 28th. The album will include BE:FIRST’s representative songs from 2023 onwards, such as “Boom Boom Back”, “Smile Again”, “Mainstream”, and “Masterplan”, as well as “Hush-Hush”, a collaboration with ATEEZ, an eight-member Korean boy band, which was released digitally on Monday, July 1st and ranked first in the “Billboard JAPAN General Song Chart JAPAN Hot 100” for the week, and will include a total of 16 songs, including new songs.
It has also been decided that BE:FIRST will hold their first dome tour, “BE:FIRST DOME TOUR 2024-2025 “2:BE”, with nine performances in four cities to promote their album “2:BE”. Keep an eye on BE:FIRST’s future, which continues to show their momentum.
