The first solo live performance by the main character team SoLaMi♡SMILE (Himika Akaneya (role of Manaka Lala) / Yu Serizawa (role of Minami Mirei) / Miyu Kubota (role of Hojo Sophie)) from the TV anime “PriPara” was held and streamed at Tachikawa Stage Garden. In addition, it was announced that the event “Pretty Series Crossing Live 2024”, which brings together the Pretty Series at this performance, will be held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama on Saturday, November 16th. In addition, it has been decided that an album containing songs from “Idol Land PriPara” and an album containing songs from “PriPara” that have been performed at previous events will be released.

SoLaMi♡SMILE Special Event “Sky! smiLe! Music!” by PriPara Official Report

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the TV anime “PriPara”, and the first solo event of the main character team “SoLaMi♡SMILE”, “SoLaMi♡SMILE Special Event “Sky! smiLe! Music!” by PriPara” was held at Tachikawa Stage Garden. Tickets for both the day and night performances were sold out, and fans excited about the long-awaited solo event flocked to the venue. When the lights went dark, an emotional scene of SoLaMi♡SMILE’s Laala, Mirei, and Sofi reaffirming their friendship through the God Idol Grand Prix was projected on the screen, and as the audience was immersed in the story, Mirei (Yu Serizawa) appeared from the back of the audience, shouting “Everyone! Come over here!”, recreating a scene from the TV anime “PriPara”. The unexpected appearance caused a cheer of joy and surprise from the audience. “Everyone! Do you like PriPara? ” was answered by a powerful “Yeah!” from the audience, followed by Sofi (Kubota Miyu) who appeared at the front of the audience and encouraged the audience by saying, “You won’t be able to help but shout out in excitement, I’ll show you the best live performance. If you can’t play, I won’t accept it!” Then, Laala (Akaneya Himika) appeared on the sparkling stage. The audience responded perfectly to the customary call of “Everyone’s friends!” with “Everyone’s idols!” and the live started with a shout of “Sky! smiLe! Music!” Here we go! The first song they performed was “Pretty Prism Paradise!!”, the first song they sang after forming SoLaMi♡SMILE, and the excitement in the venue rose all at once, making it a wonderful start to their 10th anniversary. Next up is “HAPPYぱLUCKY,” with animation projected on the screen that evokes the story and touches the hearts of those who love “PriPara.”

After the opening greeting, which included familiar lines, Mirei (Yu Serizawa) performed her solo song “Puritto Perfect”. In the middle of the song, she got off the stage, walked among the audience with a big smile while waving her hands, and charmed them with her lively singing voice. The venue was filled with the image color blue. Next, Sofi (Miyu Kubota) also got down to the audience while performing “Taiyo no Flare Sherbet”, and in contrast to her cool appearance, she riveted the attention with her passionate performance. Furthermore, Laala (Himika Akaneya) got down to the audience and performed “Thank You ♥ Birthday” to express her gratitude for the 10th anniversary of “Pripara”, and said happily, “Today’s live is also an anniversary for us! I’m happy to be able to celebrate with everyone! Thank you!!” Then, they performed “Dream Parade”, which is also the opening theme of the first cool of the second season. As it was a familiar song, the group performed a perfectly synchronized dance, and some people even began humming along to the lyrics, bringing the sense of unity in the venue to a climax.

The next corner is a reading drama. The episode begins with a glimpse into the dressing room of SoLaMi♡SMILE as they take a break between live performances. The three are excited about the many gifts that arrive at the venue from the “PriPara” idols. However, the three can’t seem to find the gifts they want, as they want to fill their stomachs during the short break… They finally find some gifts that will fill them up, but they discover that they can’t eat them unless they complete a tongue twister, so the three try their hand at the tongue twister. Laala (Himika Akaneya) and Sofi (Miyu Kubota) succeed in succession, but Mirei (Yu Serizawa) fails. However, as she is not a “god” idol but a “biting” idol, she is judged to have cleared the test and received the gifts. As they received all the gifts, the three realized how much support they had received from so many people, and as they reflected on the long journey to their solo live show, the buzzer rang to signal the end of the break, and SoLaMi♡SMILE hurried onto the stage.

The first song they performed at the halfway point of the live was their new song “My Heart Letters”. It was a warm ballad that conveyed gratitude to the listeners, and they conveyed their feelings to the fans who support them, saying “Even if 10 years pass, even if 1000 years pass, I want to be with you”. Next, they looked back on the history of SoLaMi♡SMILE with a narration by their manager Kuma (CV: Suzuki Chihiro), and confirmed with the fans the bond they have built up until now along with their 10-year history. Next, SoLaMi♡SMILE appeared in cute new costumes based on white, which was worn by the characters in “Idol Land Pripara”. The lyrics and new costumes combined to create a performance that made you feel like a new page for SoLaMi♡SMILE. Next, they performed “Ready Smile!!”, and the performance was very impressive, with the audience calling out to them as they performed with bright smiles.

After an MC, the venue was once again filled with excitement with the performance of another new song, “We♡Are☆☆☆KamiING!”. This energetic and lively song showed a side of SoLaMi♡SMILE that had not been seen before, but the performance incorporated choreography from past songs, creating an excitement that made it hard to believe it was a new song. “Everyone! We’re going to keep shouting!” Torara (Himika Akaneya) encouraged the audience, and in the following song, “Triangle Star”, the audience joined together in the choreography to draw stars, filling the venue with a sense of unity.

During the MC, it was announced that a CD album containing songs from “Idol Land PriPara” and a CD album containing songs performed at past events from “PriPara”, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will be released. Both will be released on Wednesday, November 13th, and the audience cheered with delight at being able to listen to songs that they could only hear at live shows whenever they like.

In addition, they performed a new song, “We Love Pripara!”, which was written by combining the feelings of those who have supported them so far and the feelings of SoLaMi♡SMILE. The happy song, typical of SoLaMi♡SMILE, made the audience feel the 10th anniversary and raised expectations for the future. As the concert drew to a close, they performed “Growin’ Jewel!”. It was a mid-tempo ballad sung gently, and the members seemed to be deeply moved. After the song ended, Laala (Himika Akaneya) expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you for continuing to support us all this time.” Mirei (Yu Serizawa) reflected on the past, saying, “There were many difficult times, but we were able to overcome them because everyone was there.” And Sophie (Miyu Kubota) said, “I will never forget all the support you have given me,” and each of them conveyed their feelings for the past 10 years to the fans, engraving the support they have received so far in their hearts. The last song that SoLaMi♡SMILE performed was “Suite Forever☆Friends – First Movement – I FRIEND YOU!!”. The three girls captivated the audience with their beautiful singing and dancing, and their dazzling brilliance left an impression on the audience as they truly were divine idols.

The audience was still excited and called for an encore, and SoLaMi♡SMILE reappeared, saying, “Thank you for the encore!” Then they performed “Make it!”, which is no exaggeration to say is the signature song of “PriPara”. It is the opening theme of the first cool of the first season of the TV anime, and the audience was filled with excitement at the long-loved classic, showing the greatest excitement of the day. The three of them went down to the audience and enjoyed their time with the people who loved “PriPara” to the fullest. At the end, they boldly declared, “We vow here to continue performing as godly idols so that we can continue to see everyone!”, and the performance came to a close as the audience cheered for the history of “PriPara” to continue.

In addition, a special video was shown after the evening performance, and it was announced that the Pretty Series will be held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama on Saturday, November 16th, at the Pretty Series Crossing Live 2024, an event that brings together the Pretty Series. Even now in its 10th anniversary, the Pretty Series continues to be loved by many people, and events are becoming more and more exciting. Please continue to look forward to the Pretty Series.
