Akarakai, a popular singer-songwriter with a pure and beautiful voice from music creator agency muchoo (pronounced muchu), has been scheduled to make his first appearance on YouTube Music Weekend 8.0 supported by docomo from 3:40pm on Saturday, August 24th.

“YouTube Music Weekend 8.0 supported by docomo” is a YouTube-sponsored event that will premiere live footage and music videos from 94 artists over three days from Friday, August 23rd to Sunday, August 25th.
Following on from last year’s, this eighth event will bring together a group of “digital native artists” who have been born out of the context of Japanese internet culture and are garnering attention around the world, making full use of digital media such as Vocaloid.

Akarakai will premiere a newly filmed studio acoustic live video on YouTube from 3:40pm on Saturday, August 24th.
